- AutoPM: Automatic Learning and Analytics from Processes
- Professor Hyerim Bae, PhD
- Department of Industrial Engineering
- Pusan National University, Korea
- Abstract: Process analysis, including process mining technique, is relatively recently developed and has received a lot of attention. Through research over the past 20 years, remarkable results have been derived not only in business processes but also in operational environments such as manufacturing and logistics. Nevertheless, it has been reported that these process analysis methods have technical difficulties in applying them in a business environment. In this presentation, we propose a new methodology called AutoPM that allows users to analyze and utilize processes more easily by combining artificial intelligence methodology with process analysis method. First, we develop a technique that can automatically map the existing database and objects used in process mining with deep learning techniques for automatic process discovery. Next, we introduce a machine learning technique that can improve the quality of event log data so that process analysis can be performed even in situations where there are problems such as event log data containing missing data. Then, a new supervised learning method, the “craftsman training” technique that can perform process analysis even when there is insufficient learning data has been developed. Next, we developed a statistical verification method of how consistent the process model is with the event log, which enables us to extract the simplest model within a statistically significant level. Finally, we propose a model that can automatically improve the derived process model by utilizing deep Q-learning of reinforcement learning. The AutoPM methodology proposed in this study is expected to help users find a process model and perform the tasks necessary to evaluate and improve the process conveniently by solving the difficulties of the process analysis technique presented so far.

- Abstract: In the last three decades, China has made great progress in information science and technologies related to Internet of Things (IoT). More and more attentions have been paid to the extension and application of IoT related technologies in agriculture by governments and agricultural practitioners, bringing better performances to agriculture. China plans to establish precision and smart agricultural systems with the consideration of Chinese characteristics, by applying IoT and Blockchain technologies. Therefore, this speech will introduce four aspects: (1) the application trends of IoT techniques in agriculture; (2) the features & prospects using IoT in agriculture; (3) the impacts of IoT on agriculture; (4) the reform and innovations using IoT for improving agricultural effects.
